The Lava Blob is a non-boss creature of the demons faction. It lives in the Ashlands and can appear there at day and night, at altitudes from 2 to 1000 m. It spawns alone or in a group of 1 to 2. It has 300 health.
Blunt, frost and lightning damage are effective against it. It resists pierce and poison, and it is immune to chop, pickaxe and fire damage.
Every Lava Blob drops 1 to 2 Proustite Powder and 1 to 2 Sulfur, each with a 100 percent chance. It also has a 10 percent chance to drop 1 Lava Blob Trophy.
