Questions
How does armor reduce damage in Valheim?
Armor takes a flat amount off a hit while it is below half of the hit, and above that the hit shrinks the more armor you have: the damage you take is the hit squared divided by four times your armor. The calculator uses that rule.
What do resistant, weak and immune mean?
Every creature takes more or less damage from each type. Resistant halves it, very resistant quarters it, weak raises it by half, very weak doubles it, and immune or ignore takes none.
What is left out?
Your weapon skill level, stars on the creature, the difficulty setting, blocking and stagger. The numbers are the base values of the game data.
