Where is my Valheim world file?
On Windows: C:\Users\your name\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local. Each world has a file ending in .fwl (older worlds) or .fwl2 inside a folder of its own; the name before the ending is the world name.
Does the file leave my computer?
No. The page reads the file in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Why does the seed on the map look different from my world?
Worlds made before a big update keep their older layout. The map draws the world the current version makes for that seed, so a very old world can differ from it.
