Lox is a creature of the plains monsters faction and lives in the Plains. It is active both day and night, at altitudes of 1 to 1000 m, and appears in groups of 2 to 4. It has 1000 health and is not a boss.

Lox has two attacks: a bite that deals 130 damage to a body at a range of 5.5, and an area stomp that deals 120 at a range of 2.5. It is weak to fire and resists blunt, slash and frost. It is immune to chop, pickaxe and spirit damage.

Killing a Lox always gives Lox Meat (4 to 6) and Lox Pelt (2 to 3). It also has a 10 percent chance to drop 1 Lox Trophy. A Lox can be tamed, which takes 30 minutes. It eats Cloudberries, Barley and Flax.
