Valheim 0.215.2
Patch 0.215.2 is a public test build that continues the recent work on world saves and backups. Backups can now be restored more than once, and world saves missing their .fwl file can be managed and deleted. Console players get more stable world saving and better handling of corrupted cloud saves.
Changes and balancing 4
- Backups are no longer deleted after you restore them, so the same backup can be restored multiple times.
- World saves that are missing their .fwl files now appear in the Manage Saves menu so you can delete them.
- Console: world saving has better stability and performance, which lowers the chance of saves being corrupted on Microsoft Store and Xbox.
- Console: save files corrupted by incomplete file operations in cloud storage are now detected and can no longer be started as empty worlds.
Fixes 3
- Fixed a bug that stopped backups from being restored when the main save file was missing its .fwl file.
- Fixed a bug where saving a world in cloud storage created a blank .old file instead of no .old file.
- Console: fixed a bug where cloud save time stamps were retrieved as UTC instead of local time.
