Valheim 0.219.16

This patch mainly repairs the gamepad issues players were running into, including menu navigation, dead zones and sign and portal renaming. It also corrects problems with the new skills and food, fixes a few resin candle bugs, and reworks the Asksvin Cape to make it better for running. A known issue may stop some Linux dedicated servers from starting.

Changes and balancing 2

  • The Asksvin Cape has been reworked so it gives increased run speed and uses less stamina when running.
  • The "No Build Cost" world modifier no longer lets food be placed freely; that is now covered by the "No Craft Cost" world modifier.

Known issues 1

  • Dedicated servers running in Steam's anonymous mode on Linux have problems that may stop some servers on third-party hosts from starting; the issue is not specific to Valheim, and a solution is hoped for as soon as possible.
