The Boar is a non-boss creature of the forest monsters faction. It lives in the Meadows and spawns there both day and night, at any altitude up to 1000 m. It appears in groups of 1 to 3, and each one can be level 1 to 3. It has 10 health, walks at speed 5 and runs at speed 8.

Its base attack is a horizontal strike with a range of 1.5, and it deals 10 damage to a body. The Boar is immune to chop, pickaxe and spirit damage. Nothing in its data lists a weakness or a resistance.

When killed, a Boar always drops 1 Boar Meat and 1 Leather Scraps, and it has a 15% chance to drop 1 Boar Trophy.

The Boar can be tamed, which takes 30 minutes. It eats Carrot, Turnip, Onion, Mushroom, Raspberries and Blueberries.
