Feathers are a Material described in the game as "A small pile of feathers." They weigh 0.1, stack up to 50, and can be teleported. They are first available in the Ashlands.
You can get Feathers from three creatures. A Hen drops them 100 percent of the time, while a Chicken and a Volture each drop them 50 percent of the time.
Feathers are used to craft the Eitr-weave Robe and a range of arrows: Bloodgold Arrow, Bronzehead Arrow, Carapace Arrow, Charred Arrow, Fire Arrow, Flinthead Arrow, Frost Arrow, Ironhead Arrow and Needle Arrow. They are also used to build the Dragon Bed.
